I havent played Dishonored yet, but FC3 is probably the best fps game to date.
The story can be quite short and a little out of place, but there is an incredible amount of replay value on to the game, you can play co-op, play multiplayer, kill more bad guys, climb more radio towers. I think well Dishonored does look promising, I would go with Far Cry 3.
I really wana get Dark souls but im worried that I might get frustrated by it I mean seriously I get frustrated by limbo ):
Should I give it a try but I dont wana waste 20quid
It's not really that hard as they make it out to be. I had a hard time at beggining, but as I progressed through the game and learnt it's philosophy I could easily beat the game's bosses in my first try and progress through the harder areas without dying that much and the game became a blast. If you have some spare money you should also pick up Demon's Souls. Both are great games, maybe among the greatest RPGs this gen gameplay-wise
Playing Tekken tag tournament 2 and Fifa 13, both aren't bad at all. Love the tekken tag 2 though, you can pair play i.e you and your friend each control one player in your 2 player team, and then go online and play against other pair play or single play players, really sweet.
Do you guys recommend to still buy a PS3 (only have a Xbox360) and buy some of these games I (might) like, or shall I wait for the new Playstation console?
I would wait until the 20th, if they do reveal the PS4 we will know what's up and if it will be backwards compatible. If it's not then yes buy a PS3 because you don't want to miss out on the games it has.
I plan on buying a PS3 after holding off to see if the PS4 would have BC, but am going to try and wait for a price drop.
My main question is how is the used games market for PS3 games? I know Blu-Rays have a stronger surface versus DVD's when it comes to scratches, but do people often run into trouble or is it a pretty safe bet? I'm looking to cut costs, but will most likely pick up the franchise collections in brand new condition if the price is right.
I'm also curious what some underrated/obscure games are? Below are the games I'm interested in and think I covered most of the big must have games and franchises:
3D Dot Game Heroes // Bayonetta // Castlevania: Harmony Of Despair // Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow // Catherine // Crystal Defenders // Dante's Inferno // Dark Souls // The Darkness // Demon's Souls // Disgaea 3 // Disgaea 4 // Dragon's Dogma // Enslaved: Odyssey To The West // Eternal Sonata // Final Fantasy XIII & XIII-2 // flower // God Of War Collection (5 in 1 pack) // Gran Turismo 5 // Heavenly Sword // Heavy Rain // Hot Shots Golf: Out Of Bounds // inFamous 1+2 // Journey // Killzone Collection // Legasista // LittleBigPlanet 1+2 // Lollipop Chainsaw // Mega Man 9+10 // Metal Gear Solid HD Collection // Metal Gear Solid 4 // Modnation Racers // NBA Jam: On Fire Edition // NFL Blitz // NHL 13 // Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch // No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise // Okami HD // Outland // PixelJunk Monsters // Ratchet And Clank Collection (PS2 Games Remastered) // Ratchet And Clank (All PS3 titles) // Red Dead Redemption // Resistance Collection // Resonance Of Fate // Shadows Of The Damned // Silent Hill HD Collection // Team ICO Collection // Soundshapes // Space Invaders Infinity Gene // Uncharted 1-3 // Valkyria Chronicles // Vanquish
Suggestions are always welcome, but if the game has a PC version I will most likely choose that over the PS3 version. Thanks.
This is not exactly a game question but Ill post it anyway. I was thinking of getting a PS3 mainly for the exclusives I've missed over the past 5 years. I've been skeptical though since the next gen consoles are just around the corner and Im not sure its smart buying one just as the industry is about to switch over to newer consoles.
Getting a PS4 when it releases and playing PS3 games on it via their streaming service is out of the question though. I'd definitely wait if the PS4 had native backwards compatibility support and get that instead but it looks like that's not gonna happen. So, getting a PS3 this late - yay or nay? And if so, how important is HDD space on it really?
